About Us
The Secondary Glaucoma Student Study Group is led by a team of three medical students who have united under the guidance and expertise of The Miami Integrative Metabolomics Research Center and its founding director, Dr. Sanjoy Bhattacharya, PhD. As students, their interest in secondary glaucoma has drawn them to the University of Miami to better understand PEXG and PDG and to investigate data-driven treatment options for populations of different ages and with various co-morbidities. They strive to bridge the gap between research and patient outcome improvement by establishing a network for connectivity and communication between physicians, researchers, and patients.
